Marvel tabletop games over the years

Marvel tabletop games range from collectible miniatures to modern co-ops and card games.

Start by filtering for player count, then check each game's play time.

Marvel's films made the brand famous, but only a few games adapt a specific movie. The next section separates film-based games from the comics-based majority, so fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe can spot familiar material. For the reverse, films made from games, see movies based on board games.

Do Marvel board games stick to the movies?

Mostly not. Here’s where each game draws its inspiration.

  • Based on a film

Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War is licensed from the film, with a custom-sculpted Thanos figure and Infinity Stones to guard.

  • Movie trivia

Trivial Pursuit: Marvel Cinematic Universe asks about Phases 1 to 3 and uses MCU objects as movers.

  • Infinity Stones theme

Splendor: Marvel and Infinity Gauntlet: A Love Letter Game both draw on Thanos and the stones. Their sources don’t document a film connection.
